Technology

Dr. Roth and his experienced dental team use the oral health technologies listed below to help obtain and maintain optimal dental health. We are pleased to offer our patients these systems in a friendly and comfortable environment, while recognizing technology is only one factor in obtaining quality dental care and great results.
CEREC is a system that allows you to receive esthetic porcelain restorations (formerly only made in dental laboratories) in a single visit. A camera records the tooth image, eliminating messy dental impressions. The crown/onlay/or veneer is designed and milled in the office so that you can have it cemented in place shortly after the image is captured. More details are available in the services section.
DIGITAL X-RAYS reduce radiation exposure to patients by as much as 75%. They eliminate messy chemical development of film while being ready for viewing in a fraction of the time it takes to develop film. They allow both the doctor and patient to view images on a computer screen, where images can be adjusted for contrast, brightness, and can be magnified to better observe details. Digital images allow the patients to view and discuss what has been found by the dentist.
DIGITAL INTRA-ORAL CAMERA takes images that allows the patient to see exactly what the dentist sees. These images can be saved and stored in a computer for future reference as well as to document current conditions. They allow the patient to better understand their dental conditions, as seeing is believing.
CAESEY education system is a series of short informational videos stored and shown on the operatory computer to discuss dental topics that directly relate to your needs.Receiving information on topics as periodontal disease, implants, TMJ, root canals and others, along with discussion with the Doctor and staff, allows you to make a more informed decision on your treatment options.
STA – Single Tooth Anesthesia - is an advanced technology computer-controlled pump that replaces traditional dental syringes. The computer controls the flow rate of anesthetic as well as measuring the pressure created to allow the patient to feel less discomfort on injections. This system also allows single teeth to be numbed effectively in the lower arch, eliminating the feeling that half of your face has been numbed, as well as shortening the time after treatment that you remain numb.
